Introduction

The IFCJ has the headquarters based in Chicago and as well as in Jerusalem. The entire organization has some administrative heads, supervisory officers and directors. The organization is combined Christians and Jewish people with many head of the departments belonging to both the religions. Discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, religion, sex or color is not done here at all. The entire organization is one big family.

Yechiel Eckstein’s achievement due to social service

The founder of the IFCJ, Yechiel Eckstein was presented before the government of Israel by the Welfare and Social Services Minister, Mr. Issac Herzog for being the first ever individual to win an award for Special Contribution to the Welfare of the People of Israel. It was a prestigious moment for Yechiel indeed. The very next week Yechiel was even more honorable for him since Newsweek proclaimed him the 50 most influential Rabbis in United States of America. Yechiel was awarded almost 50 awards for his social service programmes which included the Raoul Wallenberg award in 2014. Yechiel’s contribution to social service and people’s welfare was endless with fetched him huge amount of recognition and idolatry as well.

In the year 2005 Eckstein was chosen the Goodwill Ambassador of Israel.Yechiel’s special emphasis was on Israel’s international relationships with evangelical communities belonging to Latin America.
